New Bar – Drink & Drag
Drink & Drag, supposedly the only bar fully staffed by drag queens, had its grand (and we do expect GRAND) opening in Las Vegas this Saturday, May 5. It’s on the second floor of Neonopolis, where Jillian’s used to be.
The “ladies” are simply gorgeous, taking up to three hours to get ready for a shift so they look “just so.” They’re friendly and flirty, cracking jokes and keeping things up-tempo all the time. During the soft opening, they broke out into choreographed dance sequences throughout the night. As to be expected, the décor and design of the place was sick, too – no slumming it for these sophisticated broads; ha, ha!
Not to mention, servers take orders on iPads that wirelessly transmit the ticket back to the bar. How freaking cool is that? Gives us more time to socialize and scope things out and less time jockeying for position at a crowded bar!
If dancing and drinking isn’t your bag, there’s a 12-lane psychedelic bowling alley and sha-wanky billiards room. The place was created by the owner of the popular Krave nightclub in the Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
